• The core to these machine-assembled padded rails is made entirely of 7/16" wafer board
• It is then wrapped in 3/4" of flame retardant foam and covered with your choice of fabric
• The outside height measurement to these rail caps is 1 5/8" down the side of your waterbed frame
• This standard set of padded rails covers both side rails and the foot of your waterbed
• As an added feature to this set of rails, there are two upholstered corners that help enhance the look of your rail caps and allow you a place to sit at the foot of your bed

• The side rails are 72" long and slide up snug against the corner pieces. Overall outside length measurement is 83"
• the rails are NOT designed to butt up against the dummy/head board of the waterbed frame.  There will be a few inches of the frame rail that is not covered by the padded rails at the head of the bed!
