Why isn't everyone sleeping on a waterbed?

We moved from the Midwest to South Florida with a memory foam mattress. Nothing made that cool enough to be comfortable. My husband had a waterbed many years ago and recommended we try that. We are so thrilled that we did! We sleep like the dead every night and never wake up too hot (even those of us with back problems). When we called with a question, the owner was very polite and helpful. The shipping company was also right on time and friendly as well.
Everything you need is included, and we had it set up for use the day it arrived. It looks even better in person than it does on the website. I wish we would have bought one sooner! We love supporting small businesses, and would happily recommend the Waterbed Factory to others.

Well worth the price! The quality and design works with any bedroom furniture you have! I love how it doesn't look like the typical boxy water bed frames. It is much more sturdy and classy looking! The owner was super helpful and courteous throughout the whole process!

Great product with a few quirks

This bed is a well made product and the company is pleasant to work with.
Here's the breakdown;
5/5 Quality of materials - very nicely upholstered and I love the headboard.
4.5/5 Price - very reasonable for what you get
4/5 shipping - took about 2 weeks. Not unreasonable for a custom built item. Comes in pieces, some in a box, some strapped to a pallet.
5/5 Support - Friendly and helpful staff available to talk with by phone. No wait time.
3/5 Assembly - I was disappointed to find that there were no pre-drilled holes, so some care is required to make sure everything is lined up properly. I'm not exactly handy and I managed it just fine, but it was a bit nerve wracking.
Also, the method for mounting the awesome headboard leaves much to be desired. I had to bump the bed out from the wall a little because of the window frame and then discovered that the headboard depends on the wall to stay in place because you only receive 2 little brackets with VERY small screws to mount the headboard to the bed. They will not support your weight unless you have the bed perfectly aligned to lean the headboard against the wall. I was able to add some supports to the wall since I only needed an inch or two for the window. Maybe I just didn't understand the instructions because if I had made it flush, I don't see how I could have installed the brackets to start with. This was my only real beef with the product. The headboard should be supported without needing the wall.
Overall 4.5/5 I was very happy with the finished product and love my "recline against" headboard. I would recommend this company to my friends.
